We are pleased to support the Jersey Scouts with their Bingo fundraising event for Jersey Hospice by donating a selection of tasty biscuits. This event went really well considering that 55 turned up on the night instead of 101 because of COVID–with just under £500 raised for Jersey Hospice. The biscuits went down a treat with everyone and the Jersey Scouts will use any remaining for their next fundraiser for Jersey Hospice next month.
Jersey Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care to all those with a life-limiting illness. A registered charity that doesn’t charge its patients, the annual cost to run their charitable services in 2020 was over £7.2 million (£19,600 per day). Funding for their care services is thanks to the generosity of islanders.
