Monthly charity round-up April 2023

April has been a very rewarding month for us, with lots going on from supporting community fundraising events to Easter egg hunts and raffles. Below is our round-up of charity donations for the last month.

Good Companions Club Easter lunch

To help ensure everyone had a memorable Easter, we provided the Good Companions Club with enough fresh lamb to feed all 200 members. We also supplied 200 Easter eggs, so everyone had something to take home with them too.

Autism Jersey Duck Race

We were more than pleased to support Autism Jersey with their annual Duck Race event by donating 12 large Easter eggs as raffle prizes. We also donated boxes of Creme Eggs, Mini Eggs and Malteaser Chocolate Bunnies for the Easter Bunny to share with all the children. We are delighted to announce that the event raised an amazing £2,770.80 for Autism Jersey.

St Andrew's Church Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday 8th April, St Andrew's Church held their Easter egg hunt for local children and ran a variety of fun Easter-themed arts and crafts for them to participate in. We were more than happy to support this event by donating four kids Easter Eggs from Marks and Spencer.

Finance department 'Dress Down Friday'

Every week the Finance department hosts 'Dress Down Friday' in order to raise money for their chosen charity of the month. The team proudly raised a total of £250 in April for the Diabetes Jersey.

The Harbour Gallery Jersey opening night

We were happy to support The Harbour Gallery with their opening night by donating 3 bottles of champagne. The Gallery was officially opened by His Excellency The Lieutenant Governor of Jersey in front of a full house of members and guests.

St Stephen's Church Guernsey

We were pleased to support St Stephen's with their Easter raffle by donating two delicious Easter Eggs from Hotel Chocolat. Funds raised went towards the church.

Jersey Youth Service

We were happy to support the Jersey Youth Service with their Easter Egg hunt by donating chocolates from Marks and Spencer.

Guernsey Cheshire Home Alice Tea Party

Iceland Manor were more than happy to support local charity Guernsey Cheshire Home by donating food towards their Alice Tea party on Saturday 15th April. The children and residents had an unforgettable time, indulging in tea party treats, playing games, and taking photos with their favourite Alice in Wonderland characters.
