Jersey Cheshire Homes

The annual AJC Christmas Fair. This joyous event at the Town Hall catered for all Christmas cards and gift needs, while supporting our island charities. The day was filled with entertainment by local musicians such as The Ukulele Club and SwingStyle singing some old time favourites. Beresford Street Kitchen provided a lovely lunch and on top of all that, there was a visit from the big man himself! Sandpiper donated a £20 voucher as one of the raffle prizes that was held that afternoon.

Guernsey Christmas Lights Switch on

On a magical night in December at the Round table Christmas Fayre, the lights switched on displaying a magnificent canopy of magic over the town square! Morrisons Daily donated a bottle of Champagne and Matalan a £25 voucher - both to be auctioned off as prizes in the raffle that was held during the festivities.

Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation held their annual ball last month with the theme of VEGAS. A raffle was held to raise money for the foundation who's work helps raise funds in order to provide financial and emotional help to Jersey families who have children that require medical treatment. Sandpiper was able to donate a giant cuddly teddy towards the event.

Lowe's Legacy Gig

In memorial of father and son Charlie and Dean Lowe, there was a fundraising night held at local venue, Chambers. Several members of the Sandpiper team were in attendance as local musicians performed throughout the evening. iQ donated a £50 voucher to be auctioned off on and help raise funds for local causes/charities that were near and dear to the Lowe family.

Jersey Hospice Care Bake Off

Jersey Hospice Care is one of our three main partnered charities (see our Corporate Social Responsibility page linked at the bottom of this page). Our Shared Services team held their own fundraiser for Jersey Hospice Care. Our bake off raised over £200 on the day as the team battled it out for Star Baker! Our winning baker was Lillian with her "dark and dreamy" Guinness Cake - talk about ticking all the boxes! Her flavours were perfectly balanced, and the lovely touch of the Irish shamrock on the top really stood her out from the rest! Check out the link below for more details and results of the runners up.

Autism Jersey Quiz Night

Another Colin Beckford speciality quiz night raising funds for Autism Jersey. We had the delight of donating some M&S hampers, chocolates, an airfryer and a cute cuddly toy as prizes that up for grabs on the night. Be sure to stay up to date with Autism Jersey's events in the new year!
