Monthly charity round-up October 2022
October has been a rewarding month for us, with lots going on from supporting Macmillian’s Coffee Morning, to Halloween parties and more. Below is our round-up of charity donations for the last month.

Swim Easy Jersey Inter-insular
We were pleased to support Swim Easy Jersey with their inter-insular competition for swimmers with special needs by donating bottles of water and a selection of crisps. The competition between Swim Easy Jersey and Guernsey Marlins took place on Saturday 22nd October, with Jersey winning for the 13th year in a row.
Styx Centre Charity Quiz
We were more than happy to support the Styx Centre with their charity quiz night by donating a case of wine for the winners and a tub of chocolates to the runner-ups.
National Trust Guernsey Raffle
The National Trust Guernsey held a raffle in October to help raise funds for their charity. Hotel Chocolat donated a luxury chocolate gift set as a prize.
Grouville Battle of Flowers Halloween event
On Saturday 29th October, the Grouville Battle of Flowers Association held their annual Halloween dinner and dance. We were more than happy to support them with this event by donating two toys as raffle prizes.
Pathways Beetle Drive
On Saturday 22nd October Pathways held a Beetle Drive at St Brelade's community centre. We were pleased to be able to support them in their fundraising efforts by donating two toys to their raffle.
Variety Golf Day
On Friday 7th October Variety held their annual golfing event in order to raise much-needed funds to help the disadvantaged and disabled children within Jersey. We were more than happy to donate two bottles of champagne as raffle prizes.
St Matthew's Church Bazaar
The popular Bazaar took place on Saturday 15th October at Cobo Community Centre, in order to raise funds for St Matthew’s Church. Based on the theme of the Pirates of Cobo, this event raised an amazing £3,500. We were pleased to support this event by donating Costa Coffee vouchers to their raffle.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Throughout September, Costa Coffee and Marks & Spencer introduced a range of coffee morning tasty treats, with a proportion of the sales donated locally to Macmillan Jersey.
